29?!?

How in the crazies am I getting ready to turn 29 here in a couple of hours? Seriously? 29? I still feel so much like a teenager at times...didn't I just graduate high school? Oh wait...that was 11 years ago! haha!

So...let's see...29 random facts about me.

1. I'm addicted to Diet Coke. I think I just need an IV of DC hooked up to me at all times.

2. My favorite TV show is Lost.

3. My nickname in Junior High was Smiley. Mr. Clarkson dubbed me that name when I was the office helper...he was one great teacher!

4. My first job was working at Tropical Sno. Yep, I was the snowcone girl.

5. Every wall in my home is painted a color (well, except for the hallway). I am not a fan of boring, white walls.

6. I'm insanely addicted to digital scrapbooking (which I'm sure you all already knew!)

7. I kind of panic when there's a really bad thunderstorm or tornado warning. I didn't used to be this bad...I think being a mommy has made me a wimp!

8. Half of my wardrobe is black. I love black shirts, dresses, etc...It's slimming!

9. I hate ironing...and rarely do it!

10. The only jewelry I really wear is my necklaces by Lisa Leonard. (and I think everyone should own one...www.lisaleonard.blogspot.com)

11. I became a pastor's wife at the age of 22...so we've been at this church for right at 7 years! We really were such kids!

12. I'm allergic to pine trees...blue spruce trees are my enemy. They make me break out like crazy (but it always got me out of mowing the lawn growing up!)

13. The past 6 months I've really developed a love for my morning coffee...with tons of cream and Splenda.

14. I am constantly photographing the little things around me. My kids grow up and change so much I don't want to miss a moment.

15. I own a video camera and rarely use it...and I constantly am getting mad at myself for not using it more. I'm missing so many little moments!

16. I'm trying the couch to 5K program...and am not hating it so far! (just don't run after you eat Culvers...not a good combo)

17. I am trying to learn how to fix little girl hair. They really should come with training manuals.

18. I love reading blogs...and wish I were better about keeping up with mine!

19. I despise the winter...I really think I'd be happy living somewhere like Florida. Give me sun!

20. I have a real love for garage sales...I'm a bargain hunter just like my mom was!

21. I'm really diggin' folk/indie type music right now. I know, don't laugh.

22. I am currently on a health food kick...I still eat my share of junk, but it's all much more balanced now!

23. My favorite color is pink.

24. Spiders and other little bugs just creep me out.

25. I've only been camping a couple of times...(mostly due to fact #24.)

26. I hate to sweat (which makes the couch to 5K program kind of difficult!)

27. I have 82 gigabytes of scrapbooking supplies on my external harddrive (can you say hoarder?)

28. A lot of my friends live on my computer. (I just love my digi scrapping friends!)

29. I am the luckiest wife and mommy in the world. Seriously...have you seen just how cute my family is? God is good!

I don't think we are going to do anything too special tomorrow. Tyler has to work & I'm getting ready to have a garage sale with my friend Kristina Thursday/Friday. Plus, we have church tomorrow night. I think we are going to go out on Friday night. I told Tyler I want ice cream cake, though!

I do have some scrapbooking news to share! I'm a guest for Catscrap (www.catscrap.com) & Paislee Press Designs (www.oscraps.com)! I keep pinching myself to make sure it's true! It was definitely a great birthday present!

I won't leave without sharing some new layouts...I've been a scrapping machine lately! (Just don't look at my pile of laundry or dishes, ok?)

Night everyone!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I know your life has had its fair share of heartache, but it is so refreshing to witness your positivity and thankfulness at every turn. Celebrating "29" is such a gift...and at this point in our lives, every minute that we get with our kids, families, and friends is another gift. Thanks for being my friend and taking such good care of my boys! YOU ARE LOVED!!!

p.s. Enjoy your ice cream cake!

Happy Birthday!! I tried to call but you were organizing your yard sale, and Tyler of course tried to tell me a lie about he was not allowing you to talk on the phone after 10 pm...ha ha! I like your 29 things, I really don't want to do 30 on my birthday! This sucks, we're just 17, this is all a dream!!..right?

Happy Birthday Kellie. I just love looking at your awesome layouts. I am also addicted to Diet Coke. I've been so out of the digi scrapping loop. But I'm on summer vacation now, so here's to scrapping again!

Ah, the old Tropical Sno. I do miss that! I don't miss helping you & Nikkie take invertory because those people were so backwards in keeping track of their business!

I know this is way out of left field but i saw your comment on another blog i absolutely love (bring the rain). I lost twins at 22 weeks in dec '05 to TTTS and i was a member on a twin board that i believe you were on. When i saw Mason and Miles' names i remembered you. I'm glad to see you were blessed with a daughter (we were blessed with a son a year after my girls passed). I just wanted to say hello!

Nice blog site. I really like the digital scrapping! Sounds like something I could get into. Just happened on your site by the familiar name. :)
